We are seeking experienced Scrub/Scout & Day Surgery Registered & Enrolled Nurses to join our close-knit and supportive perioperative team. We have a variety of shifts available to suit your lifestyle

• Monday to Friday roster

• Shift of 6 8 or 10 hours AM with some lates finishing at 2030

The Position:

• Assesses plans delivers and evaluates patient care seeking support from senior staff as required.

• Promotes and contributes to effective communication facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.

• Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.

• Supports and supervises staff and students as required including orientating and preceptoring staff.

• Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.

You will hold current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years experience within a Scrub Scout/Perioperative speciality and demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.

To succeed you will have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team and have a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. To be considered for this role you will need to have current Australian Work rights.

We can offer you

• Registered Nurse Casual Hourly rate: $52.30 to $67.24 (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% superannuation

• Enrolled Nurse Casual Hourly rate: $47.40 to $50.56 (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% superannuation
