Greencross Vets Narellan and Campbelltown are looking for a qualified Veterinary Nurse to join our team in a part-time capacity.

About the Role

This is a part-time Veterinary Nurse position working across both Greencross Narellan and Campbelltown.

Youll enjoy a varied role that allows you to utilise your nursing skills across a broad range of medical surgical and hospital cases.

We are ideally looking to appoint one or two nurses depending on candidate availability and experience. Across the two clinics we can offer anywhere between approximately 18 and 38 hours per week providing flexibility to accommodate the right applicants. Whether youre seeking a smaller part-time opportunity or something closer to full-time hours wed love to hear from you.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting veterinarians during consultations treatments and procedures
• Surgical preparation and theatre assistance
• Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting post-operative recovery
• Administering medications and treatments
• Collecting samples and performing diagnostic testing
• Providing nursing care for hospitalised patients
• Maintaining patient records and treatment plans
• Supporting emergency and urgent care cases when required
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control
• Providing exceptional client communication and education
• Supporting reception and administrative duties when required
• Assisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of both clinics

No two days are the same making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and being part of a busy supportive team.

About You

Were looking for someone who:

• Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)
• Has previous clinical veterinary nursing experience
• Is confident with both medical and surgical nursing duties
• Demonstrates excellent animal handling skills
• Has strong communication and customer service abilities
• Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team
• Is organised reliable and professional
• Brings a positive team-focused attitude
• Is passionate about patient care and client experience
