What You’ll Be Doing

Sitting within our Finance team and reporting to the CFO, this role has a broad and influential remit - you’ll connect strategy, performance and governance across both iSelect and Compare the Market, partnering closely with our Executive Team to ensure effective governance across the Group. You’ll:

• Own and drive the end-to-end the strategic and business planning cycle, bringing strategy, budgets, forecasts and priorities together
• Deliver Executive and Board Reporting focused on, among others, execution of strategic priorities, Enterprise Scorecard goals and Executive Team KPIs
• Turn strategy into clear goals, measures and actions so our business verticals know what success looks like, creating visibility and accountability
• Partner with our leaders to shape priorities, test what’s viable and turn good ideas into action
• Lead the enterprise performance management framework and keep a clear view of how the business is performing, connecting the dots across financial, operational and strategic outcomes
• Monitor strategic priorities, performance and key risks, providing clear insights and recommendations to the CFO, CEO, Executive Team and Board
• Keep key initiatives on track, spotting roadblocks early and helping teams work through them

What Sets You Apart

You’re a commercially minded leader who sees the bigger picture and understands what really drives business performance. You’ve worked across financial performance and strategy in complex, regulated environments (like financial services, insurance or health).

We’re looking for:

• Experience in strategy, finance, transformation, consulting, PMO, corporate development or enterprise performance
• Board reporting and executive stakeholder management experience
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Experience establishing KPI and performance frameworks
• A practical understanding of governance and risk, and how they support good business decisions
• The confidence to challenge, influence and build alignment with senior leaders, even when you don’t directly own the outcome

We're open to the role being based in either Melbourne or Brisbane.
