Professional Search Group (PSG) is looking for a Junior Applications Developer to join their Applications Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career developer to build hands-on experience across the full application lifecycle while working on business-critical systems, ERP platforms, integrations and reporting solutions.

Working alongside experienced developers, you'll gain exposure to modern development practices, cloud technologies and enterprise applications in a supportive, collaborative environment.

\n

You'll assist with the development, maintenance and support of core business applications while providing application support and contributing to ongoing technology improvements. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills while working on real-world business systems.

Location: Perth, WA

Key Responsibilities:\n

\n
• Assist in developing and maintaining business applications, ERP systems, integrations and reporting solutions.
\n
• Provide Level 1 and 2 application support, troubleshooting issues and resolving service requests.
\n
• Support application testing, deployments and system enhancements.
\n
• Work with senior developers to deliver new features and improvements.
\n
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing and development best practices.
\n
• Learn and apply modern development practices, including version control, secure coding and CI/CD principles.
\n
• Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver reliable business solutions.
\n

You'll have:

\n

\n
• A relevant qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
\n
• Foundational experience in software development or application support.
\n
• Basic SQL knowledge and an understanding of databases.
\n
• Exposure to programming languages such as C#, .NET or similar.
\n
• An understanding of APIs, integrations or web services.
\n
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
\n
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
\n

Desirable:\n

\n
• Exposure to Azure, AWS or other cloud platforms.
\n
• Knowledge of Git, Power BI or Microsoft Power Platform.
\n
• Understanding of SDLC, testing and modern development practices.
\n
