Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Medication Management: Administer medications, ensure adherence to prescribed schedules, and monitor for side effects.
\n
• Wound Care: Clean wounds, perform dressing changes, and monitor for signs of infection or complications.
\n
• Health Assessments: Conduct regular health checks, monitor vital signs, and update care plans based on assessments. For example: FRAT assessment BRADEN assessment Diabetes assessment Continence Assessment RUDAS assessment
\n
• Chronic Disease Management: Support clients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and respiratory illnesses.
\n
• Personal Care Assistance: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
\n

Desired Skills

\n

\n
• Proficiency in a second language, including but not limited to Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Hindi, and Vietnamese.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
\n

Professional Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
\n
• AHPRA Registration
\n
• First Aid and CPR Certification
\n
• ABN Independent contractor work rights
\n
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance of $10M each
\n
• National Police Clearance
\n
• COVID-19 vaccination certificate
\n
