Role Outline:
\n
• Relationships
\n • Actioning guest requests promptly
\n • Ensuring security and care of guest belongings and hotel property Quality & Standards
\n • Completing allocated rooms within the allocated time
\n • Replenishing and controlling guest supplies and amenities including bathroom amenities, mini bar, towels and linen
\n • Preparing each room to the required standard
\n • Rotating and replacing room items in accordance with set requirements such as mattress protectors, bedspreads, and pillows
\n • Reporting missing items from guest rooms e.g kettle, cups, glasses, irons, hangers • Presenting guest rooms as per Hotel standard
\n • Providing buddy training when directed by the manager/supervisor
\n • Following company policies and procedure manuals
\n • Reporting maintenance required in rooms
\n
Safety
\n • Maintain safe and hygienic work practices
\n • Report any hazards, accidents/incidents or related matters to Housekeeping Supervisor
\n • To participate in consultation / communication regarding OH&S issues and provide feedback
\n
General
\n • Attending all training as required by the Hotel
\n • Adhering to Hotel direction and following all Hotel policies and procedures
\n • Declaring all lost property and following lost property procedures
\n • Attending morning briefings and periodic Housekeeping meetings
\n • Reading and actioning daily worksheet
\n • Recording room status; do not disturb rooms, room moves and room changes
\n • Maintaining all equipment such as trolleys, vacuums, and chemical bottles
\n • Attending work punctually
\n • Notifying Manager of any required changes to roster with a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice
\n • Following Hotel fire and safety procedures • Maintaining the required standard of personal cleanliness, appearance and conduct as determined by the Hotel
\n • Performing other duties as directed by the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor
\n
