Senior Accountant
\n
Location: North Lakes, QLD

The Client:
\n
Zylo has teamed up with a well established and now growing accounting firm. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team to be based in their North Lakes office.
\n
Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations \n
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements \n
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations \n
- Manage and mentor junior accounting staff \n
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting \n
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support \n
- Ad-hoc tasks as required \n
\n
Qualifications and Skills:
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance \n
- CPA or CA qualification preferred \n
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting \n
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices \n
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills \n
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
