Job description

In Schneider Electric, everything we do is geared towards advancing progress and sustainability for all—our colleagues, customers, partners, and the communities and societies we serve.

Whether it's through our products, software, and services that propel the digital transformation of energy management and automation, or through our corporate citizenship and volunteer activities, we make a meaningful impact by empowering people and organizations to become more resilient, electric, and digital.

Which is where you come in. Working at Schneider Electric means working toward a cleaner, better world. You're part of a global team built on inclusion, mastery, purpose, action, curiosity, and teamwork, turning sustainability ambitions into actions.

The Role: Quality Resolution Specialist

We're looking for a Quality Resolution Specialist to join our team in Adelaide or Sydney. This hybrid role combines technical problem-solving, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

As a trusted partner to our customers, you will work closely with engineers, project managers, quality teams, and business stakeholders to manage technical issues, drive resolution, and improve customer satisfaction. You'll play a key role in investigating customer concerns, identifying root causes, coordinating corrective actions, and implementing preventative measures to reduce future issues.

This opportunity is ideal for someone with a background in engineering, technical support, project management, or customer-facing operations who thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, and enjoys influencing outcomes through collaboration.

What will you do?

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer issues, incidents, and escalations.
  • Coordinate onsite and remote responses to customer concerns, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
  • Partner with engineering, project management, operations, and quality teams to investigate technical issues and determine root causes.
  • Manage customer cases from containment through to closure, ensuring stakeholders remain informed throughout the process.
  • Lead and support structured problem-solving activities, including 8D investigations and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate containment actions and mitigation plans to reduce customer impact.
  • Analyze customer feedback and performance trends to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive customer satisfaction initiatives related to technical support, service delivery, and operational performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and internal business partners.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and quality performance updates for leadership and customers.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that prevent future issues and enhance customer experience.

What qualifications will make you successful?

We recognize that great candidates come from a variety of backgrounds. If you have a strong technical foundation and enjoy working with customers, we'd love to hear from you.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree qualification or equivalent experience in Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Electrical Trade, or a related discipline.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers during challenging or high-pressure situations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Resilient and adaptable when managing complex customer issues.

Nice to Have:

  • Electrical or electronics engineering experience.
  • Experience in customer quality, customer support, project management, field services, or technical operations.
  • Exposure to quality methodologies such as 8D, root cause analysis, corrective actions, or continuous improvement programs.
  • Experience managing customer complaints, escalations, or business-critical incidents.

What’s in it for me?

  • Global Family Leave
  • Comprehensive medical coverage for employee and dependents
  • Worldwide Employee Stock Ownership
  • Hybrid work arrangement (New Ways of Working)
  • …and more!
