Pearl Recruitment is partnering with a major civil contractor delivering slope stabilisation, soil nailing, remediation and main road projects across North Queensland.
We are seeking a hands-on Site Engineer to join their Cairns-based team, working on challenging slope stabilisation and remediation projects across the region.
Slope Stabilisation Engineer:
Salary: $110,000-$120,000 + Vehicle + Super
Location: Cairns / North Queensland
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Start: ASAP
The Role
- Assist with the delivery of slope stabilisation and remediation projects
- Coordinate soil nailing, piling, drilling, grouting and shotcreting works
- Manage subcontractors, procurement and site activities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and construction plans
- Manage QA, ITPs, project documentation and compliance
- Monitor site progress, quality, safety and productivity
- Work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors, subcontractors and clients
- Be actively involved on site and provide practical engineering support
About You
- 2–5+ years' experience as a Site Engineer / Civil Engineer
- Civil construction experience, ideally within slope stabilisation, remediation or main roads experience
- Strong understanding of soil nailing, piling, drilling, grouting and shotcreting
- Experience with QA, procurement and subcontractor coordination
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong site presence
- Current Driver's Licence
- Full Australian working rights required
