Experience Level Min 6-12 Years \n

• Hands on experience on Linux operating system administration and proficiency in Linux command line and shell scripting.
\n
• Linux user and group management \n
  \n
  • Creating, modifying and deleting user accounts
  \n
  • Managing user permissions and group memberships
  \n
  • Hands on in using privileged access management tools like Centrify, CyberArk, Microsoft Azure AD will be a value add.
  \n
\n
• Linux file system and backup management \n
  \n
  • Manage disk space and partitions
  \n
  • Configuring and managing RAID arrays
  \n
\n
• Oversee server administration, ensuring optimal performance, security and reliability
\n
• Experience in virtualization technologies like VMware
\n
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture - including nodes, pods, services, deployments and namespaces. \n
  \n
  • Familiarity with key Kubernetes objects
  \n
  • Hands on in using K8S management tools using tools like Openlens, kubectl, Lens etc.
  \n
  • Familiarity with K8S resource management and cluster health performance monitoring - hands on tools like Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK etc.
  \n
  • Managing containers with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
  \n
  • Integrating with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Gilab CI etc is a value add.
  \n
  • Basic understanding of Apache ActiveMQ and Kafka
  \n
\n
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals \n
  \n
  • Configuring network interface, routing and hostname resolution
  \n
  • Managing network services
  \n
  • Hands on in using network diagnostic tools like ping, netstat, traceroute, ip and ip tables
  \n
  • Good knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP
  \n
\n
• Experience in implementing security best practices \n
  \n
  • Operating systems patching experience
  \n
\n
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to accomplish the task. \n
  \n
  • Triage and route calls / tickets to appropriate resources and domains who can best support to address the issue/problem adhering to the SLA.
  \n
\n
• Basic understanding on Zero Trust cybersecurity principles
\n
• Industry/domain experience in Electric Utility / Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) is a value add.
\n
