The Family Services Strengthening Families stream provides community-based support and case management to help children, young people and their families overcome challenges. The primary goal is to promote child safety, build parenting skills and prevent family situations from escalating to the point where statutory intervention is required.
Referrals are received through The Orange Door.
As a Senior Lead Practitioner Family Services delivers family services to support children, young people, and their families who are experiencing challenges and vulnerabilities. You will provide evidence informed interventions aligned with the family's needs and Uniting's
Therapeutic Model of Care (TMoC), that promote safety, stability and development.
In addition you will work closely with the Team Leaders to provide support and live coaching to Lead Practitioners.
