About the role The Production Supervisor / Superintendent role is a Full-Time position, based at Vermont, VIC. Reporting to Manufacturing Manager you will provide people and process leadership to the Monier Roo ftiles Production teams, ensuring the team's health & safety, the environment, and CSR's code of conduct are never compromised. In this role, you will: * Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past. * Full accountability for production staff and day to day production operations to ensure delivery within the Monier rooftile (Clay) factory. * Mentor, train, and support team members and hold them accountable to deliver production, quality and safety objectives. * Collaborate with Managers and Production employees as well as other parts of the areas. * Have excellent people management and problem-solving skills as technical support will be required. * Experience in analysing data and reporting. * Experience in LEAN manufacturing experience will be considered highly advantageous. What you bring to the role * A strong commitment to safety awareness * Demonstrated progressive experience in a production or process technical role in a similar industry. * Tertiary qualifications in Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar * Supervisory & motivational experience & knowledge (people person) * Knowledge & Production experience in a manufacturing environment What is on offer We strive to support your professional and personal growth.
