Senior Business Analyst

Job Description

We're partnering with an established organisation undergoing significant transformation to find a Senior Business Analyst who can bring strong delivery capability, but just as importantly, help lift the capability of the broader BA team.

\n

This isn't a role for someone who simply wants to gather requirements and move onto the next project. You'll work closely with an existing team of BAs, helping take a good function to the next level through coaching, mentoring, stronger standards and consistent ways of working.

You'll be responsible for:

\n

\n
• Coaching and mentoring BAs, helping develop their capability and confidence
\n
• Owning and continuously improving BA standards, frameworks and ways of working
\n
• Leading complex initiatives from discovery and requirements through to implementation and BAU handover
\n
• Facilitating workshops and working closely with senior and executive stakeholders
\n
• Translating complex business problems into practical solution options and recommendations
\n
• Current and future-state process mapping, gap analysis and continuous improvement
\n
• Producing high-quality requirements, process documentation and analysis artefacts
\n
• Acting as a trusted advisor across business, transformation and technology teams
\n
• Working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
\n

You'll ideally bring:

\n

\n
• Strong end-to-end Business Analysis experience across complex transformation initiatives
\n
• Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring or uplifting other BAs
\n
• Experience establishing or improving BA standards, templates, playbooks or quality
\n
• Confidence engaging with senior leaders and constructively challenging stakeholders
\n
• Strong workshop facilitation, requirements and process improvement capability
\n
• The ability to operate across both strategic thinking and detailed delivery
\n
• Experience across technology-enabled transformation and complex system change
\n
