Who are we looking for?

We're working on an exciting assignment with a well-established and highly regarded Melbourne-based commercial law firm seeking a Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join its Litigation & Dispute Resolution team.

This opportunity offers exposure to a diverse range of commercial litigation and insolvency matters, working closely with experienced practitioners on complex disputes across a broad range of industries.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing files through various stages of the litigation process, from commencement through to settlement or appeal
• Advising clients on litigation strategy and dispute resolution options
• Drafting pleadings, briefs, correspondence and other litigation documents
• Conducting legal research and analysing complex legal and factual issues

To join us, you will:

• Have at least3 years PQEideally gained from top or mid-tier law firms (with strong legal training)
• Have exposure to insolvency and restructuring matters
• Possess excellent drafting, legal research and analytical skills
• Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and a practical approach to problem-solving
