  • We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern.
    • \n

ABOUT YOU: \n
\nYou must:\n
\n

    \n
  • be studying a relevant degree qualification or a recent graduate/skilled migrant.
    • \n
  • have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
    • \n
  • have the necessary technical and soft skills to perform the job.
    • \n
  • be committed to a career in your field of study.
    • \n
  • be able to work at least 3 to 4 days per week.
    • \n

LEARNING OUTCOMES: \n
\nYou could be provided work experience in the following areas:\n
\n

    \n
  • designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability;
    • \n
  • developing, testing and evaluating theoretical designs;
    • \n
  • managing projects using engineering principles and techniques;
    • \n
  • planning and designing new production processes;
    • \n
  • producing details of specifications and outline designs;
    • \n
  • recommending modifications following prototype test results;
    • \n
  • using research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills, particularly mathematical modelling and computer-aided design;
    • \n
  • considering the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints;
    • \n
  • working with other professionals, within and outside the engineering sector;
    • \n
  • monitoring and commissioning plant and systems.
    • \n

LOCATION:
The host company is located at Perth.\n
