Looking to make the move across the ditch? An established, multi-state contractor with a strong pipeline across Defence, Industrial and Commercial sectors is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Newcastle team.

The Initial Project

• High-profile church re-roofing and façade repair
\n
• Heritage building - Heritage experience welcomed
\n
• Located in a blue-chip suburb with strong community visibility

• Approx. $5M value

• Start date: 5 January
\n

Beyond this, you'll lead commercial, remedial and high-rise residential works up to $20M , including refurbishments, repairs, remediation, demolition and upgrade projects.\n
What You'll Be Doing \n
\n

\n
• Manage projects from setup through to completion
\n
• Monitor HSECQ compliance and cost control
\n
• Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour
\n
• Lead reporting, weekly meetings and programming
\n
• Provide technical and engineering guidance
\n
• Liaise closely with clients and stakeholders
\n
• Support tendering and estimation
\n

What You'll Bring \n
\n

\n
• Proven experience managing construction projects for a contractor
\n
• Strong commercial and planning capability
\n
• Leadership skills and safety-first mindset
\n
• Interest in operations and business development
\n
• Tertiary engineering qualification (or similar)
\n
• Construction White Card & driver licence
\n
• Ability to obtain Police Clearance (Defence project requirement)
\n
