About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operations Assistant to join a growing operations team manufacturing high spec Ute canopys.

What's on Offer?

  • $33 - $38 per hour + Superannuation (depending on experience)
  • Permenant long term employment
  • $400 monthly performance bonus when company targets are achieved
  • Full-time Monday to Friday role

Monday to Friday

  • Start: 6:00am
  • Finish: 2:45pm
  • Morning Tea: 9:00am - 9:15am
  • Lunch: 12:15pm - 12:45pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Support fabrication and manufacturing operations
  • Ensure products are manufactured efficiently and to a consistent quality standard
  • Assist with improving operational efficiency and business outcomes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) policies and procedures
  • Complete tasks accurately and meet required deadlines
  • Work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Undertake additional duties as required by management

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Organised and highly reliable
  • Passionate about producing quality work
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and workloads
  • Attentive to detail with a strong focus on accuracy
  • A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a similar field is highly regarded but not required. working with hand tools, and trade assists in metal fields also highly regarded.

The following will be highly regarded:

  • Ability to interpret work orders and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good organisational skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety
  • Manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, fabrication, or production experience
