Reporting within a small, dedicated policy and governance function, you will take ownership of the organisation’s policy development, document-control and governance processes. You will bring genuine depth in policy writing, with the ability to take legislation, standards, subject-matter expertise and operational input, then translate these into clear, well-structured and usable documents.

About you

• You are an accomplished policy and governance professional who takes pride in producing documents that are technically sound, easy to understand and useful in practice.

• You have the judgement to ask the right questions, the discipline to manage detailed review processes and the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated depth of experience writing, reviewing and maintaining complex policies, procedures or governance documentation or related frameworks.
• A relevant bachelor’s degree in public policy, public health, health, law, governance or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience interpreting legislation, standards, regulatory requirements or best-practice guidance and applying these to policy content.
• The ability to turn technical or complex information into clear, practical and audience-appropriate documents.
• Strong document-management capability, including registers, version control, approval workflows, document governance and review cycles.
