About the Role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to join a busy manufacturing environment, supporting the purchasing and coordination activities that keep day-to-day operations moving. As a Procurement Officer, you’ll work across purchasing, shipping and internal requirements to ensure materials, supplies and services are available when needed, helping manufacturing operations run smoothly.

  • Raise and manage purchase orders for raw materials, process supplies and services required across manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor purchase orders and shipment schedules, ensuring key milestones and delivery timelines are being met.
  • Coordinate shipping documentation and work with freight forwarders to support the timely movement of incoming materials.
  • Process requisitions, purchase orders and inventory receipts across internal business systems.
  • Review incoming materials to ensure the correct landed cost information and supporting documentation is in place.
  • Assist with employee travel arrangements, including researching and booking flights and accommodation.
  • Coordinate company vehicle leasing, including the tender process and ongoing administration.
  • Contribute to projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement function.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team within a global manufacturing business, with exposure to purchasing, international shipping and broader business operations.

  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, logistics or a similar coordination role would be highly regarded.
  • An understanding of shipping documentation and INCO Terms would be an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage purchase orders, shipments and competing deadlines.
  • Confident working with business systems and comfortable entering, maintaining and analysing purchasing and inventory data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to work with internal teams, suppliers and service providers.
  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
