Civil Supervisor – Hughenden Roadworks

Project We are seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor for a 3 month flood recovery and road maintenance project based in Hughenden.

This role will oversee day-to-day civil works, coordinate plant operators and site activities, and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

The Role You will be responsible for:

• Supervising day-to-day road maintenance and flood recovery works
• Coordinating plant operators, labour and site activities
• Allocating daily tasks and ensuring crews are working efficiently
• Monitoring productivity, quality and project progress
• Conducting and participating in pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site safety activities
• Ensuring compliance with WHS requirements, SWMS and site procedures
• Identifying and resolving operational issues to minimise delays
• Liaising with council representatives, contractors and other stakeholders
• Coordinating plant, materials and resources across the project
• Maintaining accurate site records, timesheets and relevant documentation
• Supporting crews across roadworks, drainage, earthworks and general civil activities

About You To be considered, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience supervising civil construction or road maintenance crews
• Strong background in roadworks, flood recovery, earthworks or local government projects
• Experience coordinating plant operators and multi-skilled crews
• Strong understanding of WHS, SWMS, toolbox meetings and site safety requirements
• Ability to read plans, coordinate daily works and manage priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to liaise confidently with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
• Construction White Card
• Relevant civil construction qualifications or plant competencies highly regarded
• HR licence or plant operating experience advantageous
• Availability to commit to the project duration
