Experience & Portfolio

• 2 – 4 years of professional design and content creation experience, ideally within a digital agency or fast-paced brand environment.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Figma.
• Solid understanding of social-first formats, video trends, and platform-specific best practices (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
• Demonstrated experience handling post-production workflows from original brief to final export.
• Provide a portfolio at time of application demonstrating a mix of visual brand identity, social-first graphics, and basic motion design or video editing.
• Open to permanent residents of Australia and prepared to work within a studio, onsite location.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Execution & Direction: Create and adapt visual assets for multi-channel social campaigns, including short-form video graphics, static posts, motion design, and paid ads.
• Content Planning & Production: Help map out monthly content calendars, develop creative briefs, and manage post-production workflows for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Pitch Concepts and Support Business Development: Ideate and pitch social-first concepts across static, video, and motion for monthly retainer clients and new business opportunities
• Capture and edit midfi content: Producemidweight photography and lofi video content using in-app tools and Adobe Creative Suite and where required assist senior production teams pre and on shoot
• On-Set & Shoot Support: Assist with production and direction during photo and video shoots, ensuring captured media matches project briefs and brand aesthetics.
• Brand Guardrails: Maintain visual brand guidelines across assigned client accounts, ensuring consistent style, typography, and tone.
• Collaborative Leadership: Review work from junior designers and freelance contributors, providing constructive feedback to refine deliverables before final client presentation.
• Creative Iteration: Review performance data with campaign managers to understand what content resonates and adjust future creative approaches accordingly.
• Account Manager: Develop client accounts and new business opportunities, including presenting performance reports with clear insights and optimisation recommendations.
