Cash Operations Specialist - Sydney Airport - Australia

We are currently recruiting for a Cash Operations Specialist to support our network of ATMs and store locations throughout Sydney International Airport. In this pivotal role, you’ll work report into the Airport Regional Manager managing the physical replenishment and movement of cash. Additionally, you will ensure compliance across all cash handling, stock management, and cash operational processes. As required, the role will provide frontline support as a Sales Consultant, assisting with counter coverage, customer service and sales performance across the airport.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute cash replenishment across a network of 30+ ATMs and tills.
• Perform basic frontline ATM maintenance as necessary.
• Manage ATM Help Desk escalations, ensuring timely resolution updates and effective communication of issues and outcomes.
• Ensure workforce plans are up to date and reflect operational needs.
• Support secure cash logistics and physical movement of stock across terminal locations and storage points.
• Work collaboratively with operations team and retail leaders to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure adherence to all operational procedures including Audit, Risk, Health & Safety, Security, and retail operating procedures.
• Support Airport leadership team by reinforcing correct procedures through coaching, observing, and adherence to cash handling and stock disciplines.

About You

Operationally sound in cash control, reconciliation, and secure cash handling processes. Proven delivery in cash handling, ATM replenishment, and stock movements across multiple locations. Confidence in following and enforcement of operational procedures with key focus on accuracy, discipline, and eye for detail. Exceptional customer service skills Strong communication and relationship-building skills with colleagues and leadership.
