SAP Security & GRC Senior Consultant

The opportunity

As our SAP Security & GRC Senior Consultant, you’ll help design, deliver and support secure, compliant access across SAP environments. You will work across SAP security, authorisations, access governance and controls, supporting business-as-usual operations as well as SAP S/4HANA transformation, migration, upgrade and rollout programs.

This is a hybrid position based in Naarm (Melbourne), with Melbourne preferred, although we are also open to candidates based in Sydney.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and support SAP security roles and authorisations across SAP applications, ensuring access aligns with business requirements, governance standards and least-privilege principles.
• Lead access governance activities including role design, user access reviews, Segregation of Duties assessments, risk remediation, access certifications and ongoing security compliance.
• Support SAP transformation, migration and enhancement initiatives by providing security design leadership, facilitating workshops, supporting testing and deployment activities, and delivering post-go-live support.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Extensive experience delivering SAP Security and Authorisation solutions across complex SAP environments, with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Security, Role Design and Authorisation Concepts, and SAP Security Roles and Authorisations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP security architecture, access governance, organisational restrictions, and security design principles, with the ability to deliver secure, scalable and compliant solutions.
• Proven capability engaging business and technical stakeholders, conducting access and risk assessments, resolving security issues, and producing high-quality security design, governance and compliance documentation.

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

• Experience supporting SAP transformation and cloud adoption programs across SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP environments.
• Knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control, access governance frameworks, risk management and compliance requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence outcomes across business and technology teams.
