We are seeking an experienced fulfilment network leader to drive the evolution of our order management capability and help shape the future of our delivery offer.

In this highly visible and cross-functional role, you will drive the implementation and ongoing enhancement of order and transport system management functionality, ensuring we maximise the effectiveness of our fulfilment network while balancing customer expectations, sales growth, inventory productivity and cost efficiency.

More About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Transport, Last Mile, and International Fulfilment, you will play a critical role in delivering Officeworks' fulfilment strategy by developing innovative solutions that optimise how products move through our network and into customers' hands.

In addition to leading strategic fulfilment initiatives, you will directly lead a small team of two professionals. You will provide strong leadership, coaching and mentoring to develop team capability, foster collaboration and ensure the team delivers high-impact outcomes aligned to Officeworks' fulfilment strategy and customer-first culture.

You will lead strategic initiatives that improve delivery performance, customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS), while partnering with key stakeholders across Supply Chain, Merchandise, Retail Operations, Customer Experience and Technology teams.

This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, analytical capability and project leadership to ensure customers have access to the right products, from the right location, at the right time and at the right cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of two, creating a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, continuous improvement, professional growth and delivery of strategic business outcomes.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing optimisation of Order and Transport Management System (OMS & TMS) functionality across the fulfilment network.
• Develop fulfilment strategies that effectively balance delivery service levels, sales objectives, inventory availability and cost-to-serve outcomes.
• Identify and deliver initiatives that improve customer delivery experience and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
• Ensure alignment between customer delivery promises, fulfilment capabilities and customer communications.
• Lead end-to-end project management of supply chain and business-wide initiatives, including scoping, implementation, performance measurement and stakeholder reporting.
• Partner with Technology teams to prioritise and deliver system enhancements that support evolving customer and business requirements.
• Engage with Distribution Centres, Transport and broader Supply Chain Operations teams to ensure operational capabilities align with fulfilment strategy and delivery offers.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Process Improvement and Projects teams to model, analyse and optimise fulfilment network changes and store-node utilisation.

About you

You are a strategic supply chain professional and people leader with a passion for customer outcomes and a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in complex environments. You thrive on solving problems, influencing stakeholders and driving meaningful business improvements.

You'll bring:

• Experience in supply chain, fulfilment, logistics, order management or network optimisation.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including leading, coaching and mentoring team members to achieve strong performance, engagement and development outcomes.
• Strong project management experience, including leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to support decision-making.
• Knowledge of fulfilment networks, inventory management, transport operations and customer delivery solutions.
• Experience working with order/transport management systems, supply chain technology or digital transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical business outcomes.
• A customer-first mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
