E1 is looking for a persistent and high-energy Outbound Customer Support Specialist to join our Melbourne CX team. This is a high-volume, transactional 'doing' role focused purely on securing subscriptions, updating expiring credit cards, and calling down accounts in dunning. We need someone who can communicate naturally, build rapport quickly and adapt their style to our Subbie and Builder customers. If you love the phone, thrive in a daily rhythm, and are comfortable talking about money, this role is for you.
Start Date: Monday 21st September
Role Duration: 3 Months with potential extension or conversion to full time
Hours: 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday, up to 38 hours per week
Proactive Call Downs: Complete 60+ outbound calls daily to customers with failed payments, expiring credit cards, or those in the dunning cycle.
Save & Win Back: Execute approved save scripts to retain at-risk subscriptions and win back recently churned customers.
Data Integrity: Keep CRM records perfectly accurate by logging call outcomes, attempt numbers, and precise reason codes.
Strong phone confidence and comfort handling high-volume outbound calls (60+/day).
The resilience to handle rejection and maintain a high-energy, positive attitude.
Previous experience in collections, phone-based customer service, retention, or subscription management is highly desirable.
High-Volume Outbound Calling: Proven capability to execute and maintain a rhythm of 60+ outbound calls daily.
CRM & Billing Systems: Exposure to Chargebee, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms, with high-accuracy data entry.
Script Adherence: Ability to systematically follow approved save scripts and use structured payment guides/links.
Resilience & Tenacity: High rejection tolerance; comfort making multiple contact attempts to reach a customer.
Calm & Assertive Communication: Ability to remain warm, professional, and clear when talking to frustrated business owners.
Practical Problem Solving: Focused on resolving the payment blocker directly on the call rather than simply logging a ticket.
