Flagship Store Manager

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Store Manager to lead our Maggie Marilyn Paddington Flagship.

This is an exciting opportunity for a retail leader who loves fashion, styling, sales and building meaningful client relationships. You'll lead our Sydney flagship, develop and inspire the retail team, and play an important role in growing the Maggie Marilyn community in Australia.

\n

This is a hands-on, floor-led role where you'll lead by example by driving sales, delivering an exceptional client experience and ensuring the day-to-day operations of the store run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive sales performance of the Paddington Flagship.
\n
• Lead from the front on the shop floor, actively selling, styling and role-modelling an exceptional customer experience.
\n
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly sales targets are clearly communicated and achieved.
\n
• Drive core retail KPIs, including conversion, ATV, UPT, repeat customers and VIP growth.
\n
• Build and maintain a strong local clienteling and VIP culture.
\n
• Lead, motivate and develop the Paddington retail team through regular floor presence, coaching and feedback.
\n
• Recruit, onboard and train new team members in line with Maggie Marilyn standards and values.
\n
• Set clear expectations around performance, behaviour and presentation.
\n
• Ensure the store, stockroom and back-of-house areas are organised, efficient and well maintained.
\n
• Maintain strong stock accuracy through consistent replenishment, stock transfers and inventory processes.
\n
• Maintain exceptional standards of visual merchandising and overall store presentation.
\n
• Ensure all retail systems, processes and procedures are followed consistently.
\n
• Support and lead client events, collection launches and key retail moments.
\n
• Share regular customer, product and trading insights with the Sales Manager and wider team.
\n
• Identify opportunities to continually improve the customer experience and drive the performance of the store.

Key Skills, Experience & Attributes

\n

\n
• 3+ years' experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in premium or fashion retail.
\n
• Strong personal selling capability and sales leadership experience.
\n
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a retail team on the shop floor.
\n
• A genuine passion for customer experience, styling and building long-term client relationships.
\n
• Highly organised with strong operational and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Confident and thoughtful communicator with a collaborative working style.
\n
• Commercially aware with strong attention to detail.
\n
• Proactive, hands‐on and motivated to grow with the business.
