We are currently seeking a retail superstar to lead a diverse team of volunteers in our Newport shop!
You will lead a team of staff and volunteers who are just as passionate about giving back to their communities as you will be! A hive of activity, this shop is offering a unique opportunity for you to contribute to your local community by growing sales, coaching your budding retail heroes and, in turn, bringing in much needed funds to one of Victoria's leading not-for-profit organisations!
For more than 170 years the St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria hasbeen providing practical and compassionate support to people across Victoria who are doing it tough, whether that’s struggling to put food on the table, pay for essentials, keep children at school, or keep a roof over their head. We help people from crisis through to rebuilding their lives with stability,dignityand hope. We believe every human life hasinherentworth.
The St Vincent de Paul Society and its wide network of members and volunteers provide practical frontline support, advocacy and friendship for the most vulnerable members of our community. Key services include home visitation; Vinnies Shops; youth programs; soup vans; assistance for asylum seekers and refugees; education and tutoring; and professional accommodation and health services through VincentCare and community and social housing through VincentCare Community Housing. The St Vincent de Paul Society in Victoria has more than 11,000+ members and volunteers. Internationally, the Societyoperatesin 149 countries and more than950,000 members.
