Chinese-Speaking Medical Receptionist & Social Media | Open to All Working Visa

Open to All Visa Holders with Full Working Rights

Skin Confidence Clinic is seeking a friendly, organised and creative Chinese-speaking Medical Receptionist and Social Media Content Creator to join our team.

This is a varied role combining medical reception with the creation of engaging bilingual content for our social media platforms.

Important: Applicants must have full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.

In this role, you will:

Medical administration and reception

  • Be part of our reception team and create an exceptional first impression for our patients.
  • Communicate cheerfully and professionally with patients in both English and Chinese.
  • Answer and manage telephone, email, social media and in-clinic enquiries efficiently and courteously.
  • Arrange, confirm and manage patient appointments.
  • Assist with sales and process payments accurately.
  • Maintain the reception area and overall patient experience in line with our clinic's professional image.
  • Perform stock counts and order medical and daily consumable supplies.
  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of the clinics, including opening and closing duties.
  • Work across our two clinic locations in Teneriffe and Brisbane CBD.

Social media and content creation

  • Create engaging bilingual content in English and Chinese.
  • Assist with managing content across Instagram, WeChat, Xiaohongshu and YouTube, etc
  • Design promotional materials, social media posts and simple graphics using Canva.
  • Film, edit and publish short-form videos, treatment introductions and clinic content.
  • Assist with content planning, captions, scheduling and community engagement.
  • Help maintain a consistent, professional and appealing clinic brand across all platforms.
  • Keep up to date with relevant social media trends and content ideas.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Friendly, professional and confident communication skills.
  • A strong service focus and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • The flexibility to coordinate priorities in a busy clinic environment.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Confidence using Instagram, WeChat, Xiaohongshu, YouTube and Canva.
  • Video filming and editing skills.
  • A genuine interest in aesthetics, skincare, wellness and social media content creation.
  • The ability to travel reliably between our Teneriffe and Brisbane CBD clinics.

Experience is not essential if you are organised, reliable, willing to learn and able to work autonomously.

Please note:

  • Applicants should ideally live within approximately 15 minutes by public transport of our Teneriffe clinic.
  • Staff car parking is NOT provided.
