The OpportunityMinkara Resort is in the heart of Sydney’s Northern Beaches with stunning views over Bayview and Mona Vale. Set over 30 acres, the community creates a tranquil setting for low-maintenance retirement. As aPersonal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality personal care, socialsupportand dailyassistanceto residents within their Aveo home. Our Personal Care Attendants have a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building socialconnectionandassistingwith day-to-day tasks.

This is a permanent part time opportunity working the following roster:

Week 1: Sunday (3pm-9pm followed by a sleepover shift until 7am the following morning)

Week 2: Tuesday (3pm-9pm followed by a sleepover shift until 7am the following morning) and Sunday (3pm-9pm followed by a sleepover shift until 7am the following morning)

Your Impact

• Work independently within resident units to provide in-home support including personal hygiene, medication, house cleaning, laundry and more!
• Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.gdriving them to appointments or light exercise)
• Provide care, tailored to the resident's needs in line with their current care plans
• Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date
• Follow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety,securityand resident incidents

Whatyou'llbring

• Experience as a Support Worker or a Home Care Worker, with a passion for community care,independenceand wellbeing
• Friendly,adaptableand proactive attitude, with a passion for being part of a community environment
• Strong communicationskills, with a genuine ability to build meaningful connections with residents
• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required)
• Valid driver’s licence + vehicle (required)
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)

What we offer

• Weekday Rate: $36.23/hr+ superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
• Sunday Rate: $63.40/hr+ superannuation + relevant award entitlements include penalty rates, overtime and allowances
