St Patrick's College Mackay is a Catholic secondary college within the Diocese of Rockhampton, catering to approximately 1,500 students from Year 7 to Year 12 across two campuses. With a rich history built on the traditions of the Sisters of Mercy and Christian Brothers, the College embraces its motto, 'Seek and Serve Christ', and is committed to faith, learning, personal growth and service. Role Description
\n
This full-time on-site Secondary School Teacher role will commence in January 2027 and is located in Mackay, QLD. Teachers will design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons, assess student learning, and provide timely feedback to support student progress. Responsibilities include planning and preparing learning materials, implementing differentiated teaching strategies, managing classroom behaviour, and maintaining a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment. Teachers will collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively with families and the wider community, and participate in professional learning, school events and co-curricular activities. The role also involves integrating Catholic values into teaching and learning and supporting the holistic development of secondary students.
