We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Shift Representative to join our team at our Dandenong South site. This role is central to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance while supporting our production team on shift.

The Role

You’ll work closely with production and compliance teams to ensure our products consistently meet safety and quality standards.

This role is largely independent on shift, but you’ll collaborate with the wider team to maintain a consistent approach across all shifts.

Working an 8-hour rotating roster (7:00am–3:00pm, 3:00pm–11:00pm, 11.00pm-7.00am), you will be the quality lead during your shift, responsible for:

• Conducting pre-start line checks (cleanliness, allergen status, label verification, documentation sign-off).
• Training operators to perform and record in-process quality tests (weights, seals, coding, sensory checks).
• Monitoring critical control points (CCPs) and escalating any deviations.
• Acting as the first point of contact for quality matters on shift.
• Managing positive release and hold processes with full traceability.
• Supporting operators on PPE, hygiene, and GMP compliance, including conducting daily GMP audits.
• Documenting non-conformances and assisting in investigations with QA Officers/Coordinators.
• Promoting a "Right First Time" culture by coaching staff on quality and compliance.
• Conducting ELISA tests on finished products (night shift responsibility).
• Support a safe and compliant workplace through routine checks, maintaining standards, and ensuring systems and equipment are in place.

About You:

Successful applicants will possess the following:

• Background in food quality, laboratory, or production QA/QC (dairy, beverage, or FMCG experience highly regarded).
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety systems.
• Confident communicator with strong coaching and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working 8-hour rotating shifts.
• Able to make clear decisions under pressure and ensure swift escalation when required.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills
• Attention to detail

• Your own transport, as shift times can operate outside of public transportation hours.
