About the team \n

Our team is responsible for the authentication experience at eBay. We know that luxury buyers want the real deal and eBay's Authenticity Guarantee provides peace of mind when shopping online.

About the role \n

In this role you will be responsible for upholding buyer trust in handbags at eBay, delivering an elevated experience to customers.

Here are some things you'll find yourself doing day-to-day: \n

• Inspect, authenticate and re-package handbags adhering to strict standards and processes.
\n
• Utilise technology and expertise in luxury handbags to confirm an item's authenticity
\n
• Repackage handbags to a high standard.
\n
• Work with eBay software and technology systems to track the item from dock receiving to the moment it is posted to the end customer.
\n
• Proactively work with the warehouse team and customer service to optimise processes.
\n

The person we're looking for: \n

\n
• Luxury goods retail experience, specifically with brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Hermes, Gucci.
\n
• Experience working at a luxury consignment store (retail or e-commerce).
\n
• Prior experience of authentication and use of Entropy experience desired.
\n
• You put the customer at the heart of what you do.
\n
• An eye for detail, with a precise and analytical mindset.
\n
• Comfortable with technology platforms.
\n
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
\n
