Carnac is seeking a Senior Mechanical and/or Project Engineer to join our multidisciplinary engineering team delivering practical, high-quality solutions for our mineral processing clients.
This is an opportunity for an engineer who thrives on variety. Rather than being confined to one site or asset, you will contribute to a diverse portfolio of short-term projects, build consulting capability, and gain exposure to industry-leading organisations across the resources sector.
The ideal candidate will have wet plant experience with a focus on piping and pump design appreciating the challenges of mineral processing.
Specialist technical development opportunities are also on offer. These include niche skills such as vapour recompression energy saving technologies, discrete element modelling (DEM) and mechanical design of refinery equipment (tanks, pressure vessels, pipe stress).
This full-time role is based at our Perth head office - free parking, close to public transport and end-of-trip facilities. We understand that work-life balance is important which is why there is scope to work from home one to two days per week.
Carnac is a West Australian-owned multidisciplinary engineering company supporting clients to optimise production for established and new processing plants. We have been in operation since 2013 with a head office in Myaree, 20 minutes from the Perth CBD and a regional office in Bunbury, gateway to the beautiful southwest.
