An exciting opportunity exists for a Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist Anaesthetics to join the Anaesthetic Services team in the provision, development and maintenance of high-quality services to patients requiring anaesthesia and perioperative medicine at Cairns Hospital.

About your new role:

In your new role you will……

\n

\n
• Cooperate, as necessary, with other Departments within the Hospital and with outside agencies to ensure the Department integrates satisfactorily within the hospital and the wider community.
\n
• Participate in the Specialist Anaesthesia Outreach Program.
\n
• Responsible for appropriate supervision of junior medical staff, and other staff involved in procedural work.
\n

As a Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service employee, not only will you receive a competitive base salary (total remuneration):

• Salary up to $282,912 per annum full time (L18 – L27)
  \n Remuneration up to $489,067 per annum full time (L18 – L27)
\n
