The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established and reputable mid-sized commercial construction company with a national presence, known for the calibre of its delivery and the strength of its long-standing industry relationships. They are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead brand, content and bid support across the business, working across multiple brands within the group.

You’ll partner closely with the Business Development Manager and Bid Manager, giving you genuine visibility into how the business wins work and a direct hand in shaping how it is presented to the market. This is a close-knit, down-to‑earth team where people are given real ownership and trusted to run with it, working alongside experienced construction professionals who value good work and back people in to make decisions.

The Role

Reporting into the leadership team, you’ll take ownership of:

  • EOIs and capability material: partnering with the BDM to develop and maintain capability statements, CVs, project profiles, case studies and presentations that support EOI submissions across the group's brands.
  • Tender framework: building and maintaining the framework that underpins the tender process, including templates, standard content, graphics and collateral, so the Bid Manager has the right material ready to go for every live tender.
  • Brand and content: running LinkedIn and Instagram, keeping websites current, coordinating project photography, capturing case studies and awards, and driving a rolling content plan across each brand.
  • Collateral: ensuring marketing and submission material stays current, consistent and high quality across the group.

About You

  • Strong marketing experience gained within commercial construction (essential)
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline highly regarded
  • Comfortable working across multiple brands with distinct positioning and identity, and adept at tailoring tone and messaging to suit each
  • Proven experience supporting EOIs, capability statements and tender submissions, ideally within a project-based or technical business
  • A natural collaborator who builds strong working relationships across the business
  • Skilled storyteller with a keen eye for design and an instinct for what makes content and collateral stand out in a competitive tender environment
  • Proactive, organised and hands‑on, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Confident managing multiple stakeholders and priorities without close supervision
  • Strong InDesign/Adobe skills, with solid Microsoft Office and document management capability
