The role supports the Senior Manager Surveying Services in delivering government land dealings and the Surveyor‑General’s legislated functions. It provides expert land surveying, advice and audit services, ensuring cadastral surveys meet required standards and supporting government projects and land management.
Key responsibilities include conducting complex survey audits and cadastral surveys, providing expert advice on surveying, land tenure and government land dealings, managing survey contractors and government projects, and preparing high-quality reports and specifications. The role also contributes to policy and process improvements, stakeholder relationships, industry representation, and mentoring and developing team members.
