We currently have an opportunity for an experienced and safety-focused Garbage Truck Driver Operator to join Kiama Council’s Waste Services team.
In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep our community clean, safe and moving by delivering an essential service to residents across the Kiama Municipality. If you take pride in operating heavy vehicles to a high standard, enjoy working outdoors and want to be part of a supportive team that values reliability, service and community impact, we’d love to hear from you.
As a key representative of Council’s Waste Management service, the role requires a strong commitment to providing courteous, professional, and customer-focused service while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency and community engagement.
You’ll need a class HR Drivers licence along with excellent communication, customer service and conflict resolution skills.
While not essential, any of the following would be beneficial:
Your employment will be subject to a national criminal record check, pre-employment medical and verification checks to determine your suitability for employment.
