The Opportunity

OCU Group is a global infrastructure and energy services business with more than 5000 people delivering projects that power communities and support the energy transition.

Our Australian and New Zealand operations are growing fast bringing together great businesses including All Energy Contracting (AEC) Bam Bam Pilecom and Volta under one group.

With 500 people locally more than 200 active vacancies and plans to double our workforce were recruiting at scale and building the talent acquisition capability to deliver that growth.

Working closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition and Mobilisation youll deliver recruitment across our growing businesses while helping build the systems and processes needed to recruit at scale.

Youll work as a true partner to each of these businesses understanding their current and upcoming recruitment needs. Youll be recruiting across engineering project delivery trade and labour and specialist roles. Alongside immediate hiring needs youll look ahead building talent pipelines and helping leaders plan for upcoming projects and business growth.

What Youll Do

• Own roles end to end from brief through to offer across professional labour and specialist hiring.
• Build strong working relationships with hiring managers across Australia and New Zealand.
• Build talent pipelines for specialist and hard-to-fill roles.
• Make recruitment straightforward for hiring managers with clear advice regular updates and practical tools that help them make timely informed decisions.
• Keep candidates informed and engaged through clear communication timely feedback and a positive experience from first contact through to onboarding.
• Help shape the systems processes and ways of working that make hiring simpler more consistent and ready for scale.
• Keep recruitment systems accurate and up to date so hiring managers have clear visibility of progress and we can confidently track report and plan as we grow.

What Youll Bring

• Recruitment experience across renewables energy engineering construction or related technical sectors.
• Strong sourcing capability and a track record of engaging talent in competitive markets.
• The judgement to prioritise competing demands while maintaining a strong candidate and hiring manager experience.
• A commitment to a positive candidate and hiring manager experience with clear communication and consistent follow-through.
• Confidence using recruitment systems and data to maintain visibility identify issues and improve delivery.
