About the role
\n
The Clinical Nurse Specialists Grade 2 (CNS2) Complex Care Coordinator organises and delivers high-quality nursing care to patients across the site/s to better manage and improve the delivery of high-quality person centred nursing care in collaboration with the health care team to coordinate complex delivery of care and facilitate the transfer of inpatients who have complex care needs.

Clinician engagement and leadership has been a prominent feature of the public health system for a number of years, where clinician led clinical standards, safety and quality improvements have become a major focus. The Local Health District (LHD) is committed to the strengthening and ongoing involvement and clinician engagement of staff that provide direct patient care in the planning, delivery, improvement and evaluation of health services.
