Registered Nurse - Grade 2

The Royal Melbourne Hospital – Parkville VIC

Ward 7B is a specialised 32-bed Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplant unit providing care to patients with acute leukaemia, non-malignant haematological disorders, and those undergoing allogeneic bone marrow transplantation. The ward also cares for patients across the VCCC Alliance and offers a highly supportive clinical environment with dedicated Clinical Nurse Educators, Clinical Resource Nurses and Health Assistants in Nursing.

As a Grade 2 Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centred nursing care within a multidisciplinary team, supporting patients through often complex and challenging treatment journeys. You will be responsible for delivering safe, timely and holistic care, whilst contributing to a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous learning.

About You

• Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated clinical assessment, prioritisation and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of reliability, professionalism and commitment to patient-centred care.
• Commitment to living RMH values and contributing to a psychologically safe and supportive workplace.
• Experience in haematology and/or bone marrow transplant nursing.
• Postgraduate qualification in cancer nursing or a related specialty.
