The Director, Security Solutions Architecture, APJC leads Splunk's Security Solutions Architecture organization across APJC and is accountable for the technical strategy and execution that drives growth of the Splunk Security business across the region. Leading a distributed organization of highly experienced Security Solutions Architects, this role translates Splunk and Cisco's security strategy into regional priorities, field execution and measurable business outcomes.

Security Solutions Architects operate as specialist partners to our Account Solutions Engineers, bringing deep security domain expertise and architectural leadership to strategic and complex customer engagements. They complement rather than replace the Account SE's ownership of the opportunity, engaging where their specialist expertise can shape architecture decisions, strengthen technical discovery and influence successful outcomes.

As a senior member of the APJC Technology & Strategy Organization, the Director works closely with regional and divisional sales leadership, Field CTOs, account Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, Marketing and Partners to bring together the capabilities of Splunk and Cisco and strengthen our position as a strategic security partner to customers and partners across APJC.

What You'll Do

\n

Lead the APJC Security Solutions Architecture organization, leading a high-performing team of senior Security specialists across multiple markets and creating the environment for experienced technical leaders to operate with autonomy, influence and impact. Own the regional technical strategy for Splunk Security, translating global Security priorities and product innovation into an APJC execution plan aligned to market opportunities, competitive dynamics and customer needs.

Drive technical execution against the Security business, ensuring specialist resources are focused on the opportunities, customers and initiatives where they can have the greatest impact on pipeline, technical wins, revenue growth and renewal protection.

\n

Partner with Account Solutions Engineering, ensuring Security Solutions Architects bring deep domain expertise, architectural guidance, consulting and problem-solving to discovery, solution development and customer engagements while reinforcing the Account SE's ownership of the overall opportunity.

\n

Shape strategic customer engagements, working alongside account teams with CISOs, security leaders and senior technology executives on security transformation, SOC modernization, digital resilience and emerging areas such as AI-driven and agentic security operations. Bring Splunk and Cisco together in the field, developing compelling security architectures and customer narratives that leverage the combined portfolio and create differentiated opportunities for growth.

Drive specialist excellence and scale, developing repeatable architectures, technical plays, enablement and field practices that increase the effectiveness of account teams and partners across APJC. Build strong corporate interlocks, representing APJC with global Security, Product and Engineering teams and ensuring regional customer, competitive and field insights influence priorities and roadmap discussions.

Build and elevate Security technical leadership across APJC, developing senior architects, strengthening succession and creating a culture of technical credibility, customer obsession, collaboration and accountability.

Minimum Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience with 15+ years of relevant experience in enterprise technology, cybersecurity, technical sales, solutions engineering or solutions architecture.
\n
• Significant people leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead, develop and inspire highly experienced senior technical professionals operating across multiple countries and markets.
\n
• Demonstrated experience leading a regional technical sales, security architecture or specialist organization.
\n
• Strong understanding of enterprise security architectures, security operations and the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into technical sales execution and measurable commercial outcomes.
\n
• Experience engaging senior customer executives, including CISOs, CIOs and other technology leaders, on complex transformation initiatives.
\n
• Proven ability to operate across Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, Marketing and Partner organizations in a complex global company.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Deep knowledge of Security Operations, SIEM, SOC modernization, threat detection and response, security analytics and automation.
\n
• Understanding of AI and agentic technologies and their emerging implications for cybersecurity and Security Operations.
\n
• Experience with Splunk Security products and/or the broader Cisco Security portfolio.
\n
• Experience leading specialist teams across the diverse markets of APJC.
\n
• Track record of leading senior specialist or expert-level technical teams where influence, technical credibility and strategic leadership are more important than organizational scale.
