Employment Term: Permanent Part Time
Location: Located opposite Roma Street Parklands, St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital is just a short walk to Brisbane CBD
Remuneration: $42.50 - $54.62/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital \n

As part of our Endoscopy Unit, you will be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to patients and their families, applying evidence-based clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes.

\n

You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional person-centred care and support a diverse range of advanced gastroenterology and bronchoscopy procedures.

\n

In this role, you will utilise your procedural room expertise to provide high-quality clinical support across diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, contributing to outstanding patient outcomes and service excellence.

What makes a difference for us? \n

\n
• \n

  Minimum 12 months' post-graduate experience in Endoscopy

\n
• \n

  Demonstrated procedural room skills within gastroenterology and bronchoscopy services

\n
• \n

  Experience in gastroenterology procedures including:

  \n
  \n
  • \n

    Colonoscopy

  \n
  • \n

    Gastroscopy

  \n
  • \n

    Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

  \n
  • \n

    Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

  \n
\n
• \n

  Experience in bronchoscopy procedures including:

  \n
  \n
  • \n

    Standard bronchoscopy

  \n
  • \n

    Endobronchial Ultrasound Transbronchial Needle Aspiration (EBUS-TBNA)

  \n
  • \n

    Transbronchial Lung Biopsy (TBLB)

  \n
  • \n

    Cryobiopsy

  \n
  • \n

    Airway stenting

  \n
  • \n

    Valve procedures

  \n

• \n

  Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification

\n
• \n

  Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

\n
• \n

  Australian Working Rights (we are unable to offer sponsorship for this position)

  Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and best-practice care

• \n

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills

\n
• \n

  Desire for ongoing professional development

  Flexibility to work a full rotating roster

  Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
