Adviser Support Officer

We are seeking a proactive and relationship-focused Adviser Support Specialist to join our Platform, Product & Adviser Support team in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity for a financial services professional who enjoys problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and working across a diverse range of wealth management products and platforms.

In this role, you'll become a trusted partner to Advisers and their support teams, helping them navigate products, platforms, and operational processes while contributing to initiatives that enhance the adviser and client experience.

About the Team

The Adviser Support Team provides support to Advisers, support staff, and management across the full suite of Ord Minnett products and services, including Portfolio Services, cash products, managed accounts (UMA), external platforms, and international investment services.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business and external service providers, the team ensures Advisers have access to timely support, accurate information, and innovative wealth management solutions.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Platform, Product & Adviser Support, you will be a key point of contact for platform and product-related enquiries and play an important role in supporting product initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for platform and product-related enquiries, including operational issues, implementation timeframes, and training support.
• Keep Advisers and support staff informed of platform enhancements, product developments, and key business initiatives.
• Support Advisers in promoting, marketing, and cross-selling product offerings to clients and prospective clients.
• Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Technology, Finance, and external providers to implement procedural and structural changes.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assist in identifying impacts on relevant products and platforms.
• Research industry trends and emerging technologies to help ensure Ord Minnett's product offering remains contemporary and competitive.
• Support strategic projects and initiatives in partnership with the Head of Platform, Product & Adviser Support.
• Gather, assess, and prioritise adviser feedback to enhance products, platforms, and the overall client experience.

About You

Tertiary qualification.

Previous client service experience within the financial services industry.

Strong understanding of financial services products and investment platforms.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
