Job description
Part-Time Private Chef Job, Notting Hill, West London
A lovely private family based in Notting Hill is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Part-Time Private Chef to join their household. The family consists of two adults and two teenage boys, and they are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys preparing fresh, healthy and delicious food.
The ideal chef will have a passion for nutritious, wholesome cooking, while still bringing plenty of flavour, creativity and variety to the table. The family enjoys a wide range of cuisines and is open-minded when it comes to food, with a particular appreciation for fresh ingredients, clean flavours and well-balanced meals.
The role will involve working four weekday evenings per week, approximately four hours per evening, as well as one Saturday or Sunday each week, preparing both lunch and dinner. The chef will also be responsible for menu planning and food shopping, ensuring the household is well stocked with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
The family has an open-plan kitchen and would love a chef who is comfortable working in a relaxed household environment, is organised and efficient, and takes pride in keeping the kitchen clean and well maintained.
This is an excellent opportunity for a chef looking for a consistent, part-time private household position with a lovely family who genuinely value good food and a healthy approach to cooking.
Location: Notting Hill, West London
Salary: £40 per hour
Hours: Four weekday evenings and one weekend day per week - 4 hours during the week and 6 hours on the weekend (22 hours a week)
(Working on a self-employed basis - not required to work during school holidays)
