About the Role

As the Technical Product Owner (Corporate), you will be responsible for the strategic management, continuous improvement and operational performance of the University's core corporate platforms, including Oracle ERP, Payroll and Microsoft 365. Acting as the bridge between business and technology, you'll translate organisational priorities into product roadmaps, manage delivery backlogs and drive platform enhancements that improve business processes across Finance, People & Culture, Legal, Marketing and other corporate portfolios.

About the Team

Digital Services is responsible for delivering the technology, digital platforms, cyber security, data and enterprise systems that support the University's teaching, research and operational activities. The team partners closely with academic and professional staff across the University to drive innovation, modernise technology platforms and enable strategic priorities through digital transformation.

As part of the Enterprise Technology Operations team, you'll work with business stakeholders, technology specialists and delivery teams to maximise the value of the University's corporate platforms. The team plays a key role in ensuring critical business systems are secure, reliable and aligned to organisational priorities, while continuously improving the services and experiences they support.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Platform Owner, Business Systems Manager or similar role within a complex enterprise environment.
• Experience managing product backlogs, roadmaps and competing priorities to deliver business value.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise business systems, particularly Oracle ERP, Payroll and Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Experience translating business requirements into user stories, functional specifications and delivery outcomes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate and workflow automation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse business functions.
• Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery environments and participating in product planning and delivery activities.
• Understanding of governance, compliance, risk management and change control practices for enterprise platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to balance immediate business needs with long-term platform sustainability and standardisation.
• Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Level 8/9 | $123,283 - $152,959 + 17% superannuation.
