What does the job look like?

\n

Step into one of the most influential leadership roles within Linfox Intermodal and take the lead of our largest Queensland hub at Acacia Ridge. As Branch Manager, you'll be at the heart of Queensland operations, bringing together multiple operational functions into one high-performing, customer-focused team. This is a unique opportunity to drive accountability, champion continuous improvement, shape operational performance and make a genuine impact across safety, service, people and profitability.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity with a work schedule of Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. Key areas:

\n

\n
• Lead the Acacia Ridge Intermodal branch across Operational, Administration & Cross-Dock teams
\n
• Drive accountability, performance and operational excellence across multiple teams through clear expectations, leadership development and effective people management.
\n
• Deliver safe, compliant and customer-focused operations while maintaining the highest standards across the Acacia Ridge branch.
\n
• Improve operational processes, workflows and service outcomes through continuous improvement initiatives and data-driven decision making
\n
• Manage branch financial performance, labour utilisation and operational resources to achieve business and customer objectives
\n
• Develop strong customer and stakeholder relationships while identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and support business growth

Are you the one?

\n

You are an experienced transport or logistics leader with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders and the leadership capability to unite diverse teams behind common goals. You are commercially minded, outcome driven and passionate about developing people, improving processes and delivering exceptional operational performance. You can demonstrate:

\n

\n
• Proven leadership experience managing large, multi-functional operational teams within transport, logistics or supply chain environments.
\n
• Success leading change, driving accountability and breaking down silos to create aligned, high-performing teams.
\n
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing operational performance, budgets and financial outcomes.
\n
• A track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, service delivery and operational performance.
\n
• Experience building and developing leaders, coaching teams and managing performance in a fast-paced operational environment.
\n
• Working knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, safety, compliance and industrial relations requirements within a transport or logistics setting
\n
