Sentence Management Operations Officer Regional NSW- North, South & West Clusters (Talent Pool Creation) Salary- $87,199 -$95,482 plus super, and leave loading (Clerk Grade 3/4) Employment type- Talent Pool Creation - A talent pool will be created for future ongoing and temporary roles within Regional NSW and is valid for a period of up to 18 months Locations – Northern Cluster (Kempsey Comm Corr, Cessnock Correctional Complex) Southern & Western Clusters (South Coast (Nowra), Bathurst, Junee, Wellington & Goulburn)

Looking for work that provides opportunity to work outside the traditional 9-5; this role is offering split work-from-home schedules that is fast paced and provides crucial function within the correctional system.

Operates pursuant to Flexible Work agreement with floating core times, and split shift commencements 5-days per week Monday to Friday roster (8am - 6:30pm) Shifts

Your role Sentence Management Operations Officers plays a critical role in supporting the lawful detention and release of people in custody by ensuring sentence management operations are accurate, complete and managed in line with legislation and policy.

Working within a dedicated team, you’ll help deliver essential services that support operational outcomes while contributing to community safety and the integrity of the correctional system.

What you’ll do

As a Sentence Management Operations Officer, you will undertake a range of sentence management operations activities, including processing and maintaining records, reviewing information for accuracy, and responding to enquiries relating to the detention of persons in custody.

Working with minimal supervision, you will accurately apply established processes and procedures, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure information is recorded, stored and accessible in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements.

Every day, your work will contribute to important operational outcomes across the correctional system.

We're looking for someone who is resilient and proactive professional with experience in a legal, court, tribunal, or justice-related environment.

You enjoy working in a structured environment where accuracy, organisation and attention to detail are essential.

You may have experience in legal administration, court operations, case management, records management, compliance, or a similar setting, along with the ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies, legal documentation, and complex procedures.

You're able to manage a high volume of work, follow procedures and maintain focus when dealing with complex information.

You communicate professionally, work well with others and take pride in delivering quality outcomes.

Most importantly, you're reliable, adaptable and committed to providing a professional service while handling sensitive and confidential information.
