Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator \n

As a Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator, you will use your exceptional customer service skills and conscientiousness to administer the AER’s back-office recruitment and onboarding functions.

\n

You will apply (or quickly acquire and apply) your understanding of recruitment processes and systems, the Australian Public Service (APS) employment framework and best-practice recruitment and selection methods.

\n

You will work collaboratively and collegiately with AER and APS colleagues to deliver the critical recruitment function for the AER. You will collaborate with stakeholders and deliver recruitment plans in line with the AER recruitment schedule.

\n

You will use your knowledge and experience to administer and facilitate outcomes through the AER’s Enterprise Resource Platform (TechnologyOne). You will have the opportunity to contribute ideas and implement improvements to current approaches and practices.

\n

Working under general direction and reporting to the Recruitment Team Leader, you will administer the AER’s back-office recruitment and onboarding functions.

The key duties of the position include: \n
\n

As a Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator, you will:

\n

\n
• support managers to document role requirements
\n
• advertise employment opportunities
\n
• administer the AER’s online recruitment system
\n
• liaise with other APS agencies and departments to facilitate merit lists being used
\n
• prepare online application forms
\n
• update applicants on the outcome of their applications with the AER
\n
• prepare and release employment offers
\n
• facilitate new starters’ onboarding and successful internal applicants’ movement within the AER
\n
• monitor for, respond to and resolve recruitment, onboarding and organisation structure related queries with some complexity
\n
• manage the AER’s establishment (i.e. positions, reporting lines and organisation charts/structure) in the AER’s human resource system
\n
• advise applicants and managers about the APS employment framework and recruitment processes and systems
\n
• be a collegiate partner with other AER and APS colleagues and representing the AER Human Resources team professionally
\n
• draft standard operating procedures, user guides and templates
\n
• support procurement processes including invoice management
\n
• contribute to changes and improvements in recruitment services including system enhancements, documenting knowledge and drafting best practice recruitment materials.
