Position Overview

\n

Civeo is looking for a Retail Systems & Capability Coordinator to support our village retail teams across Australia.

\n

In this hands-on role, you'll help ensure retail systems, processes and day-to-day operations run smoothly across our national village network. Working closely with site-based teams and key support functions, including Supply Chain and IT, you'll provide practical support, assist with training and capability activities, coordinate system-related tasks through various platforms such as Simphony and JDE.

\n

This role would suit someone with experience in retail, hospitality or other customer-focused environments who understands how stores operate and understands exceptional customer experience. You'll play an important role in supporting retail teams with systems, stock management processes, store set-up activities and operational best practice.

\n

Extensive travel is required to support site visits, training, system rollouts and operational initiatives across our remote villages.

\n

We're particularly interested in candidates who have worked in front-line retail or hospitality roles and understand what a well-run retail environment looks like from both a team member and customer perspective. Experience with merchandising, planograms, store presentation, stock control and retail systems will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support retail systems, business applications and operational processes across the village network.
\n
• Provide practical support to village retail teams, helping ensure consistent day-to-day operations and positive customer experience.
\n
• Support the rollout of new systems, processes and business initiatives, including testing, implementation and stakeholder communication.
\n
• Deliver training, coaching and capability-building activities to improve team confidence and effective use of retail systems and processes.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve retail processes, operational efficiency, inventory control and consistency across sites.
\n
• Conduct regular site visits to assess operational effectiveness, system utilisation, merchandising standards and training needs.
\n
• Collaborate with Retail Operations, Village Teams, Finance, IT and Supply Chain to support continuous improvement, reporting accuracy and business outcomes.

Skills and Experience

\n

\n
• Experience in retail, hospitality, food service, accommodation services or other customer-focused operational environments.
\n
• Strong understanding of day-to-day retail operations, including customer service, merchandising, stock management and store presentation.
\n
• Experience using retail systems such as POS, inventory management or stock control platforms.
\n
• Knowledge of store set-up, planograms, merchandising standards or visual presentation principles.
\n
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across site-based and corporate teams.
\n
• A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and support the successful implementation of changes.
\n
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with experience in training, coaching or capability development and a willingness to travel regularly to village sites across Australia highly regarded.
