Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the building and construction industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, electrical contractors, consultants, developers and end clients.
Manage the complete sales process from initial enquiry through to quotation, negotiation and project award.
Work closely with engineering, design, project and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and upcoming construction projects.
Develop project pipelines and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
Attend client meetings, industry events, site meetings and networking opportunities.
Negotiate commercial terms while maintaining appropriate margins.
Support key accounts and identify opportunities for additional products and services.
5+ years experienced in sales within the building, construction, electrical, HVAC, building automation or related industry.
A confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
Commercially minded with a strong understanding of project-based sales.
Comfortable discussing technical products and solutions with customers.
Proactive, self-motivated and results driven.
Strong in negotiation and presentation.
Able to manage multiple projects and sales opportunities simultaneously.
Well organised with good attention to detail.
Comfortable working with builders, contractors, consultants and project managers.
Able to identify opportunities and convert them into successful projects.
